Camp Everytown Testimonials
At camp, we created a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to share their cultural and personal life experiences. From that, I gained understanding and compassion for my peers, and developed new friendships along the way. I also left Everytown with a strong sense of self and the confidence to apply what I’d learned in building my own community.

I participated in Everytown, Georgia when I was 15 years old. It was an amazing experience, which I still remember vividly almost 20 years later. Everytown gave me the opportunity to talk openly about being in a religious minority group and its impact on my life, both positive and negative. I gained the confidence to feel comfortable in my own skin and to approach and befriend people from all different backgrounds. I learned the lifelong lesson of always considering a person's circumstances before drawing conclusions and to consider the person not the group. -- Michele Walsh, delegate 1991, staff 1994 CDC professional & Building Understanding Donor |

Everytown was possibly the single most influential week of my life. I was raised with similar values of equality and tolerance that were addressed at camp, but this gave me the courage of my convictions. The support network I established there helped me to be a leader through the rest of my life at standing up for what I believe is right. — Adam Kunz, delegate 1995, staff 1997-2002 Social Media Game Company Founder & Building Understanding Board Member
